Keto diet, also known as ketogenic, can be helpful in targeting that stubborn belly fat that is otherwise hard to get rid of. While the diet involves eating little carbs and foods high in fat, there are certain foods that can help speed up the process to help you lose weight quicker.

Eating low carb foods and high fat foods help you shed fat by putting your body into a ketosis state.

It has many benefits for weight loss, health and performance which is recommended by a growing number of doctors.

A keto diet will only guarantee noticeable results if you stick with it and are strict on yourself.

In terms of belly fat, visceral fat which is stored around the belly is one of the most stubborn forms of fat to shift. This is because the fat cells are very dense around the stomach and there is a high number of them too. This makes it hard to lose, even when combined with exercising.

High fibre content foods can increase the feelings of fullness. This means you will be less likely to snack throughout the day which can help you lose weight.

Your body does not absorb ten to 15 percent of the calories in nuts. Due to their satiating properties, nuts are a great addition to an effective weight loss diet.

    Avocado

Avocados are a great source of several vitamins, minerals, healthy fats and fibre.

They are also keto friendly as the fruit is low in carbohydrates as well as being very high in fat. When eating foods that are high in carbohydrates, your body may be eating more calories than it is burning, meaning that this could lead to weight gain.

Raspberries may be a better option for those following the keto diet as half a cup which is around 60g contains only three grams of carbohydrates making them perfect for losing weight.

They are also very tasty and can be added to yoghurt which is also keto friendly.

    Eggs

Several studies have shown that eating eggs at the beginning of the day for breakfast can help increase fullness throughout the day.

This means that you will consume fewer calories throughout the day which will help with weight loss.
